Relay AI
Case study

From brief to live store in 5 days — the Maison Loop build

A complete e-commerce build shipped on Relay: storefront, AI shopping concierge, owner admin and a live Command Center. Everything below is running on this platform right now — click through it the way a client would.

The ask

A furniture business — one owner, a small made-to-order range, orders arriving by phone and DM — wanted to sell online without changing how they work. No warehouse software, no team to train, no time to answer the same sizing questions every evening. They needed a store that looks like a big brand, answers customers by itself, and reports back in plain numbers.

What we built

Four surfaces, one build, five days. Each card links to the live Maison Loop instance.

01 · Storefront

A store that sells like a big brand

Full catalog with nested categories, cart and checkout, editorial brand story, blog, reviews, wishlist, gift cards and referrals — in the client's own colors, on warm premium chrome.

02 · AI concierge

A shopping assistant that never sleeps

A concierge trained on the catalog answers sizing and firmness questions in the visitor's language, recommends products, and quietly captures the lead — name, contact, what they want. Open the chat bubble on any store page.

03 · Owner admin

The owner runs it without us

Products, categories, pages, promos and settings — editable by the owner in a plain admin, no login ceremony, no training course. Every change reflects on the storefront immediately.

04 · Command Center

One screen of numbers that matter

Today's sales, orders, concierge leads, low-stock alerts and top products — a live owner dashboard the client checks from their phone, with zero spreadsheets.

How it was sold

Nobody bought a $1,000-a-month store on day one — and nobody had to. The build was sold up the standard Relay offer ladder, one comfortable step at a time:

Step 1 — Site + Bot, $100. A hosted site with the AI concierge answering questions and catching leads. Small enough to say yes to in one conversation; live before the week was out.

Step 2 — Managed Store, $500 setup + $249/mo. Once the bot was catching real customers, the full storefront: catalog, cart, checkout and the owner admin — set up, hosted and maintained.

Step 3 — Growth Partner, $500 setup + $990/mo. The everything tier: the Command Center, ongoing improvements, and us acting as the store's dev team so the owner keeps doing what they did before — just with an online business attached.

Each step paid for itself before the next one was offered. That is the whole sales method: show the previous step working, then offer the next.

The same engine, other brands

Maison Loop proves the build — here it is wearing two completely different brands.
